Summer Lopez is an award-winning writer and producer whose work first appeared in Sassy Magazine at age sixteen. Today Summer is the author of twenty-one titles on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes - published by PulpBoom, under several pen names. Summer has founded two magazines: Local Mountaineer, covering extreme sports in the 1990s, and We Are 40, pop culture essays from Gen X, currently published on Medium. A former producer, Summer has premiered three films at the Sundance Film Festival, including Pretty Dead Girl, which garnered her representation by William Morris Endeavor, and West Bank Story, which won an Academy Award. She holds a degree from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, and lives in Lake Tahoe with her son.
